Calling Scotland, designed by Mary Ann Stephens, is a Fair Isle style hat and fingerless mittens knitting project sized for adult females and worked in Jamieson's Shetland Spindrift jumper / fingering weight yarn. The mittens are sized for warmth with access, covering all but the fingertips. The pattern presumes you're familiar with Fair Isle knitting; beyond that, it includes all the very detailed instructions and the exclusive colorized charts you'll need to make the set shown.
Suitable for intermediate knitters familiar with charted, stranded knitting.
Five different colors of Spindrift were used in the design. The yarn pack gives you a total of six 25g balls of Spindrift to recreate the hat and fingerless mittens set shown.
